Our Amana oven is so old, that I can't even figure out what year it was manufactured. We are remodeling our kitchen in 2/14. So, when the oven caught on fire on 8/20, I didn't know what to do. Our plans were to remodel in February. I didn't want to purchase a "new" oven now. I went onto Amazon, GOOGLED what would work with an Amana oven (SINCE IT IS SO OLD, THEY DON"T MAKE PARTS FOR IT ANY LONGER). Came across this element. I figure for $12, let me try. It has to be better than spending the $2k I wanted for a new oven. I ordered it on 8/20 and on 8/23!!!!! it was here. Perfectly timed, the carpenter was here finishing the bathroom and installed it. It WORKS wonderfully. Thank you so, so much for prompt shipping. Great product so far. It hasn't caught on fire... Thank you again. |

Works great! I would highly recommend this product and company. If I need another element or similar product, I will contact them. Our 1st element arrived damaged. The box looked like someone tried to fold it in half. The oven element did not fair well with this treatment. I contacted them and almost immediately got an answer, was asked to take pictures and describe the damage, and then almost immediately got an answer that a new element was on it's way. The new one is installed and working great! I am recording this information into my owners manual as there are no part numbers listed and at least I will have this part number as it is the official correct one. |
