The instructions had 1 bottom bracket placed 1/8" more from center than the other bracket so I decided to check by putting both bottom brackets on my countertop and putting the microwave on top to make sure it was not a typo and to also make sure the feet were seated securely before confirming the measurements. It's possible those complaining about the microwave moving might have had the spacing just slightly off. My interior cabinet size was 25-1/2" wide by 15-3/8" high by 18" deep (or basically a 27" wide base cabinet constructed with 3/4" wood). After clipping the trim onto the corner brackets there is a little leeway to position the trim up and down and left to right (about 1/8" - 1/4"). I'm using the trim for the NN-SD681S and yes there is a gap around the oven on all 4 sides but it's probably because some gap is required on the left to allow the door to open and so the other 3 sides had gaps to balance it out.
