I wasn't sure that buying only the element would fix the problem but it did. It was shipped in a GE box. The part was perfect. It arrived in only 4 days from east coast and I'm on the west. It was a great price, almost half of what GE wants. The oven is working better than ever. GE WB44K10001 was my part for my stove which the new part number is GE WB44K10005. It fit fine! |

The description uses the GE part number and implies that it's a GE part. It's not. Given its cheap price, I expected it to be a knock-off so I wasn't really surprised by that. If you go into this thinking that it's a GE part you are going to be disappointed. It's made a bit more cheaply than the original, but it fit perfectly and works great. I can't say anything about it's long term reliability since I've only had it a few days. Given its cheaper construction, I seriously doubt that it will last as long as a real GE part. In some ways you get what you pay for, so no biggie there. I can buy quite a few of these for the cost of one GE element. Installation is simple. Two screws hold it in place. Remove those and wiggle the element out... |
