works perfect
the only thing you need to be awared is this part is actually for secondary switch(top switch), not primary switch(bottom switch). if you need primary switch, you can use the original secondary switch from the microwave as primary and use this switch as secondary. the reason is the hole on the switch is a little bit smaller then the stick-out holder on the microwave for the primary switch. it does not fit all the way in but has no problem as secondary switch on the top. hope this will help. other than this, it is a really good product, and save a lot money for repair.

Perfect Replacement
I replaced this switch on an Emerson microwave model MW 8117 W. The part number showing in the original switch was 5E4 10T105. After I replaced the switch the microwave started working again. Seller delivered within 3 days after placing the order. The part did not qualify for prime delivery.
Perfect replacement
I was lucky that this part was a perfect replacement and solved my built-in microwave issue. Please be aware that some microwaves, like my Electrolux / Frigidaire actually have three of these type switches in the door mechanism. It turns out that two of these are identical while the third looks the same but has a slightly different blade orientation. If you swap the wrong one in, you will find that the microwave works in reverse. It actually runs when the door is open and turns off when the door closes. Again, I was lucky that this one was the one of the three that needed replacing. Please check carefully before ordering and good luck. For ~ $7.00, it sure beats buying a new microwave or having it serviced by a technician.
