I am writing this review more as an informational piece for those who own a GE Advantium 120. Some reviews have said this bulb FITS their Advantium, while others say it does not. In researching things, it seems GE made different versions og the Advantium 120.. Yes, same model name, but they take different bulbs. This LSE bulb has 4mm pin spacing. If that is too small for the cook-top / night light in your Advantium, you need a 20 watt halogen with 8mm pin spacing... One way to tell is simply to measure the pins spacing in your unit. If you don't want to open it up just to measure (no reason not to - it is just a screw), the version that takes the 8mm pin does NOT have an interior light in the microwave. So if you look inside your microwave and do not see any covering for a light in there, it is likely you need the 8mm pins and NOT this bulb... Hopefully this helps someone order the correct product so we don't see... |
