Our 20 year old combination microwave/wall oven finally gave up the ghost on the broil element. While food was in the oven on the broil cycle, the element broke into two, and started arcing as all that energy tried jumping the gap. A quick response kept a fire from happening. Item not as advertised
Based on the Model number of my self-cleaning range oven, the element displayed, and delivered to me, did not fit. The screw holes were different and there was no hole to accomodate the thermostat sensor. My stove is 9 years old and not currently in production, but I cannot find a proper replacement on this website. Very disappointing considering how much work is involved for a 73 year-old man with spinal fusion.
