The microwave didn't have any failure codes or other indications that it wasn't working other than it didn't heat anything up. The fan, lights, display, etc, everything looked like it was working properly, but it didn't heat up. Our oven is a built-in. Unplug it first, removed top air grill with 2 or 3 screws, take that off, and then remove one screw that holds control display assembly in place. That slides up and out, and you can access the switch. It is held in place by a fragile plastic nylon white part, you have to hold up the hook and the switch slides out. It's an easy fix if you are handy. |
