I bought it Sunday, got it Tuesday and put it in the window in less than an hour. The room is cold, there is no vibration as some others have complained and it's not exactly whisper quiet on full speed but who would expect it to be? C'mon. As far as it going off and on every three minutes, mine has been working continuously for the past hour. I expect it cycles on and off in a different mode. Look folks, it's a window unit air conditioner. If you want silence, go put some duct work in your house and central air. I'm satisfied. Oh and one more thing, it was this one or the Frididaire and I wanted to buy American. Good luck. The... |
