Even though we knew it would be larger than his previous microwave (which had just stopped working after over twenty years), when we saw it in-person, I had a "Oh my gosh!" moment. Still, once we had it all set-up on the counter, it took only a moment to get used to it. And, while my dad rarely uses a microwave (thus the reason why the last one was still around after over two decades), he instantly approved of the slick appearance and the power (it is considerably more powerful than his last microwave). Areas of potential concern: -The digital display is a very, very dim green hue. We were hoping that once we set the clock, it would brighten a bit (we thought maybe it was in a "demo mode" or some such). Unfortunately, it remains extremely dim.
